Drives-U-CrazyReader Yvonne Logan thinks there should be a universal hand signal that would alert a following car’s driver that they have left on their high beams.

“I’ve tried sticking my hand out the window and waving and even hitting my brake lights three times as some sort of signal,” Logan writes.

“Never any luck with that, so I end up just praying that an oncoming car will flash their lights. It’s blinding and obviously dangerous . . . I feel like I’m being chased by a jet!”
